At the CTIA Mobile Wireless event, Senior Editor Mark Sullivan found a variety of interesting new gadgets, including a wearable video camcorder that sits on your ear, a collaborative meeting app that can run on a huge range of devices, and an inductive charging mat for your phone and other devices.
At the CTIA's Wireless Mobile event, Associate Editor Ginny Mies took at look at the Samsung's Galaxy Tab and the company's Transform Android smartphone, as well as the Sanyo Zio. Android devices were everywhere!
LG announced an Android 2.2 phone for $50 at the CTIA Wireless show in San Francisco. Associate editor Ginny Mies took a look, and also checked out new Android phones from T-Mobile, and Nokia's Symbian-based E3 phone.
At the CTIA Wireless conference Motorola announced seven new smartphones, including the Droid Pro. Targeted at business users, it may well attract BlackBerry owners.

Nintendo showed a slew of products for the Wii at e3 this year, including the new Wii Motion Plus remote control. With a better ability to track movements, users can perform gestures such as stringing and firing an arrow or playing more accurate golf games. In addition, the company released Wii Fit Plus and the Wii Sports Resorts games, following up on the popularity of the company's balance board.

At e3 2009 in Los Angeles, Microsoft showed some impressive demos of Project Natal, a method of interacting with a screen using more of your body than just your hands. It now includes a multiplayer mode.
