In recent years we've seen huge advances in medical science, and now through the use of stem cells there is even hope for us to find a cure for AIDS / HIV. A new study conducted at UCLA shows how certain stems cells may be able to be genetically engineered to create killer T-cells that hunt down and destroy the HIV virus. The scientific study I talk about can be found here (with better diagrams!): www.plospathogens.org |

You know you've always wanted to scream your own dragon shouts and see the results on screen. Well you don't have to wonder what it's like anymore- || Add me: facebook.com || With the latest update to Skyrim on the Xbox 360 we now get Kinect support. This makes Skyrim players happy as the interface was, at times, a bit kludgy. Kinect gestures and voice commands help with this in some key ways. Free Audio book just for watching! audiblepodcast.com Add Me: Facebook: facebook.com Google Plus: bit.ly Twitter: twitter.com Blog: www.nixiepixel.com You know I'm a PC gamer at heart, but this tickles my fancy as I own Skyrim on the Xbox (I hate console ports!). Additional functions, according to Bethesda Game Studios "In addition to Dragon Shouts, the Kinect for Xbox 360 integration offers voice commands throughout the game including Hotkey Equipping, Follower Commands, and all Menus (Items, Magic, Map, Barter, Container, Favorites, and Skills). With Voice Commands, quickly create and load saves during gameplay and access menus and inventories. Skyrim's Kinect for Xbox 360 Support also adds new functionality including special map functions, additional hotkey options, and the ability to sort inventory items by name, weight, and value." While quarantined during an evil bout of sickness, I thought I'd switch things up a bit with this review of this revolutionary sparring game, Johann Sebastian Joust. Did I mention the plugin is open source? bit.ly According to the Danish Developers: "Johann Sebastian Joust is a no-graphics, digitally-enabled folk game for 2 to 7 players, designed for motion controllers(such as the PlayStation Move ). The goal is to be the last player remaining. When the music - selections from JS Bach's "Brandenburg Concertos" - plays in slow-motion, the controllers are extremely sensitive to movement. When the music speeds up, this threshold becomes less strict, giving the players a small window to dash at their opponents. If your controller is ever moved beyond the allowable threshold, you're out! Channel the power of JS Bach, and try to jostle your opponents' controllers while protecting your own."
