Providing a solution for instrumentation and other sensitive applications, the GT-51084-12N12 linear power supply from GlobTek delivers an output of ±12Vdc at 0.25 A with very low noise. Features of the 6-Watt power supply include a line voltage regulation of ±1% typical at full load and an output regulation of ±5%. "There are many applications where low-noise power is needed, and many designers forget an external supply can serve those needs" Ed Seaman, VP of Sales for GlobTek pointed out. "By locating the supply external to the device not only can you meet the noise requirements but also remove the thermal and product scaling issues presented by using an internal supply." GlobTek’s Medical Power Supply Drives Modular Infusion-Pump System

Able to serve multiple device applications, a medically-approved 15W power supply from GlobTek serves as the backbone power for a rack-oriented modular infusion-pump system. With features such as a leakage current of less than 100µA, the power supply accepts a voltage from 90 to 264 Vac at an input frequency from 47Hz to 63Hz and delivers an output of 12Vdc at 1.25A with no minimum load required to maintain output voltage regulation. "Our customer needed a medically-approved power supply that could accommodate a varying load" according to Ed Seaman, VP of sales for GlobTek. "The modular system may be using anywhere from one to four pump heads, and sometimes may not have any load present at all." The IPX-rated medical power supply has an output load regulation of±5% and a line voltage regulation of ±1% typ. The turn-on/turn-off overshoot is 5% max, 1ms typ recovery time for a 25% step load with a hold-up time of 8ms at nominal voltage and full load. The dielectric withstand voltage is over 5.5kV from primary to secondary. Able to operate at a high altitude, the power supply is potted for wet-area applications. The switching power supply meets EN60601-1:2006 Part I, 3rd Edition and complies with EN55011 class B and FCC Part 15 Class B as well as EN60601-1-2:2007 Part 1-2. Available in versions providing a continuous regulated output at up to 350W, GlobTek’s GT(M)200P350 family of power supplies delivers from 3.3V to 48.0V (in 0.1V increments) to serve demanding devices in applications from medical to industrial. Addressing high-power consumer device and other demanding applications, the GT-43004 family of high power density desktop power supplies from GlobTek are available in versions delivering up to 150W. Li-ON chargers offers a compact and cost effective solution for charging GlobTek's GL-523434A2 Lithium-Ion and Lithium Polymer battery pack. It features the ability to be custom tailored for specific applications while providing the highest level of safety in lithium battery chargers. GlobTek’s GT-91126-LI01 series of smart chargers includes pre-qualification of the battery condition before bulk charging will commence. If the battery voltage is low, a trickle charge will be enabled until the voltage is high enough for safe bulk current charging. GlobTek’s 5-bay charger charges battery in three phases: conditioning, constant current and constant voltage. Charge is terminated based on minimum current level and a programmable charge timer provides a safety backup for charge termination. The design also incorporates an MCU for battery identification, charge status display and battery temperature monitoring using HDQ communication protocol from BQ27000 battery fuel gauge IC embedded inside the battery pack. Each bay can provide bulk charge current up to 750mA at 4.2V maximum voltage for off-the-shelf GlobTek 2GL-523450-G or customer designed battery packs. Allowing quick easy assembly into panels, the range omprises bayonet and screw cap styles with round or square bezels, all types are designed to snap securely to 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 or 3.0mm panels and conform to IEC127-6 category PC2. Finally the FX0418 is for 6.3x32mm fuses with screwdriver release screw cap, 6.3mm terminals and is rated at 16A, 250V.
